Spiderwick Prediction
Today in the book Mallory and Jared were searching through the old shed and found a newspaper article. The newspaper was dated 1885 and said Local Boy Lost and as they read on Mallory and Jared realized the boy had been eaten by a bear and the only surviving brother was Aruthur Spiderwick. Make a prediction about why you think this is important to the kids. What do you think they will find out as they continue to search through the shed?

My prediction is that later in the fith book they will find out that the boy wasn’t eaten by a bear but by the evil fairy.

It might give the phone number of Aruther Spiderwick. It could tell his charicter or persinalite. The paper could have a picher of Aruther Spiderwick as a kid or adult.
